PRIVACY STATEMENT
Forest Hill Homes and its related and affiliated companies (“Forest Hill Homes”) respects the privacy rights of its customers and visitors to its sales centres and to its websites and the protection of personal information that is collected.
The following privacy policy has been adopted in compliance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (the “Act”) in furtherance of the commitment to protecting personal privacy and safeguarding personal information.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Personal information is information about an identifiable individual. It includes:
* Contact Information – name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and date of birth.
* Demographic household and preference information.
* Transaction related information.
Personal information does not include information that is not identifiable to a particular individual, re information that cannot be associated with or traced back to a particular individual.
COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Personal information is collected on a voluntary basis both online and offline through a variety of vehicles including registration forms, surveys, questionnaires and transaction related documents.
USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Personal information that is collected is used for the following purposes:

* In order to provide the necessary information, products and services and complete transactions set out above, but in such instances only to Forest Hill Homes’ agents, professional advisors and other third parties and only to the extent necessary to do so and with the express prohibition against using such personal information for other purposes.
PROTECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Appropriate security measures are in place to protect the security and confidentiality of personal information and to guard against loss, theft, unauthorized access or use, misuse, disclosure or modification. Employees are not permitted to use or disclose personal information collected except in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Despite these safeguards, information transmitted over the Internet may be intercepted by third parties and accordingly Forest Hill Homes does not assume liability for the interception, alteration or misuse of any information transmitted over the Internet.
ACCESS TO PERSONAL INFORMATION
Individuals have the right to inquire whether any personal information is held and to view and verify it and request that it be changed if it is inaccurate or incomplete. A complaint resolution procedure is provided in the Act in the event of dissatisfaction.
COMPLAINTS
Individuals may file a privacy related complaint regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal information by contacting the Privacy Officer at Forest Hill Homes who will explain the complaint procedure and investigate the complaint. If such complaint is justified, steps will be taken to rectify the matter.
